Fred W. Smith had been in existence since 1916. Originally located in quaint Hope Valley, Rhode island; we were the oldest Chrysler/Dodge dealership in New England. The first products we carried were Farm Equipment; eventually becoming an automotive dealership for Dodge in 1924. At that time we also sold Chevrolet, Renault, and Packard. Around 1960 Fred W. Smith officially became a Chrysler Dealership. In 1980 we added Plymouth to our line of quality vehicles. In the 1990's we also became one of the top sellers of Mopar Performance Parts. A 5 Star Dealer and a full service body shop, as well. From about 2006 - present, we have been acquiring our very unique and high quality inventory of Classic Chrysler Cars. Officially we reopened in 2009 and presented our collection of original, rust-free, solid automobiles.
